Dear Members,
As we celebrate this holiday season, I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to you, our members. You are the reason we do what we do, and we are deeply thankful for your trust and support. This year has been all about providing more value to our members, enhancing member service, and ensuring we are here for you every step of the way now and for years to come.
For the second year in a row, we have welcomed over 4,500 new members, bringing our HCU family to more than 39,600 members strong. It is an honor to serve such a growing and thriving community, and we thank you for allowing us to join you on your journey to financial success.
In 2024, we continued to ensure your money worked for you through excellent savings rates on certificates and money market accounts. We also introduced our Beyond Spending accounts, offering better dividends and greater benefits than ever before. It has been exciting to hear how our members have saved real money with their Beyond accounts and the BaZing app.
We also put a fresh focus on what matters most: serving you well. This year, every single HCU team member participated in our Heartland Experience Member Service Training. This two-part program helps us raise the bar and provide you with the friendly, helpful service you deserve every time you interact with us.
Providing excellent member service means we are here for you during the good times, as well as your struggles. We realize this past year was a challenge for many, and we responded by creating the HCU Hardship Assistance Program. This program has provided help to members through deferrals, counseling, and budgeting assistance, helping them regain their financial footing.
Finally, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our amazing staff who have worked tirelessly over the past year to serve our members. HCU would not be where it is today without them, and I am humbled by their dedication to the credit union and our members.
